昨天孩子的爹租了兩部片子,分別是"崖上的波妞"和"班傑明的奇幻旅程"
前者是宮崎駿的大作,說真的,動畫真的很漂亮,內容嘛,也不能說是乏善可陳,大概是設計給五歲小孩看的吧,所以實在有點單調!
至於"班傑明的奇幻旅程",是根據費茲傑羅的同名小說改編的電影,劇中主角出生時已經有八十歲的身體了,但外表卻隨著時間的流逝越來越年輕,像是一個倒著走的時鐘,故事很有創意,很發人深省!
和一般人相同的是:生命的兩端是老人與嬰孩,但是起點和終點剛好相反!只有在中點剛好契合.....
於是,班傑明和自己深愛的女人只有在中點的生命步調是一樣的,然後就分道揚鑣了.....
劇中有好幾段哲學式的對話
Benjamin在養老院看盡人的生老病死
"Everyone feels different about themselves one way or another, but we all going the same way. "
每個人的生命歷程或有不同,但最後的結果是一樣的----- 終究難逃一死!
Captain Mike 是一位堅持自己理想的船長
即使父親不讓他走藝術家的路,他照樣在自己身上畫滿了刺青,強調誰也拿不走他的夢想與畫作!
"You can be as mad as a mad dog at the way things went.
You could swear, curse the fates, but when it comes to the end.
You have to let it go."
Benjimin與眾不同的生長方式讓他更珍惜生命中的每個機會,
他說:Your life is defined by its opportunities, even the ones you miss.
最後他寫給女兒的明信片
"For what it is worth:
It is never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be.
There is no time limit, stop whenever you want.
You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing.
We can make the best or the worst of it.
I hope you make the best of it.
And I hope you see things that startle you.
I hope you feel things you never felt before.
I hope you meet people with a different point of view.
I hope you live a life you are proud of.
If you find that you are not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again."
說明了父親無法陪著女兒長大的切身之痛,以及內心希望她平安的長大的願望!
教會主角彈琴的Mrs. Maple 提醒我們:就是因為遲早會失去,我們才能知道愛人的可貴!
We are meant to lose the people we love.
How else would we know how important they are to us?
女主角 Daisy對生命的註腳---美好的事物總會留下

Along the way you bump into people who make a dent on your life.

Some swim the English Channel.
Some know buttons.
Some know Shakespeare.
Some are mothers.
And some people can dance.
在人生的過程中,我們會不斷地碰各式各樣的人,
每個人都是獨一無二的,
而我們透過別人生命的價值,
去認識自己的生命中從來不曾接觸的領域,
去體驗這更完整,且短暫的人生!

今天回家看爸媽,
爸爸生病好多年了,看起來一天比一天老.....
其實,老人和嬰孩在外表上雖然截然不同,
其實他們有許多共同特色-----都需要被照顧被關懷!
一直到睡覺前,我的腦海中還是迴盪著對生命的省思.....
不想用太多文字來陳述,
畢竟,生命中最深刻的部份只能用心感受!
我想起我大學時的一個老師說過的一句話:
每個人都只能經歷一個人生,想要體驗不同的人生嗎?那就去看電影吧!
生命中的許多感受太有趣,但是真的發生在我們身上時又顯得太沉重,
所以,還是看電影吧!
藉著看電影,我們可以過很多人生,又不必親自去經歷悲痛的部份.....
